Increased mathematical reality

The true extension of the concept of "point on object" that allows magnetization is the one which makes it possible to let a point of an object pass through mathematically significant points while handling it with the mouse in simulations where ordinary direct manipulations would fail.

 

Referring back to the figure I.2, when M approaches the X-coordinate 3/ln (2) by less than 1 pixel, we can manage to make it take this value which is the maximum area of the triangle and for which the tangent is parallel to cord [AB].
